It was created by U2 Show Director Willie Williams and marks the first time a band has toured in stadiums with such a unique and original structure. The tour started at the Nou Camp, Barcelona on June 30th.</p>
<p>LMO recently recorded incidental arrangements by Caroline Dale for the Tour at British Grove studios. Caroline scored for 4 violins, 2 violas, 2 celli and double bass. Cathy Thompson led LMO and, <a href="http://www.lmo.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/Second.JPG"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-688" title="secondary-small" src="http://www.lmo.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/secondary-small.jpg" alt="secondary-small" width="150" height="113" /></a>in a subsequent session, Martin Robertson played solo Deduk with further cello solos from Caroline Dale.</p>

The sessions, recorded at Air Lyndhurst Hall,  feature a string octet and double bass led by Eos Chater, 4 horns and bass trombone, 3 trumpets (John Barclay, Derek Watkins and Guy Barker) and saxes / clarinet (Phil Todd).
