On 26 September 2008 LMO performed an Inspector Morse concert in Keble College, Oxford for the Lord Taveners Charity. Janis Kelly, soprano, was accompanied by a 22-piece orchestra in front of an invited audience. Barrington Pheloung conducted many well-loved classical excerpts from past programs, as well as incidental cues he had composed himself for the series and, of course, the famous Morse theme.
