The final recording in the present series will take place in January 2009. All sessions have been conducted by the composer Barrington Pheloung and engineered by Paul Golding. An album of incidental cues from Inspector Lewis and classical excerpts was also released in 2008 on EMI Records Ltd. The album was recorded at Abbey Road, Angel and British Grove Studios and was recorded, engineered and mixed by Steve McLaughlin. Featuring Janis Kelly singing soprano and with sleeve notes by Barrington Pheloung, it picks out and explains the main themes from the first two years of Inspector Lewis films.
