Macau is rapidly becoming a leading travel and leisure destination in Asia – a reputation which has been further assured by the opening of City of Dreams in June 2009.

Located in Cotai, City of Dreams is an integrated urban entertainment resort. One of the entertainments comprises a spectacular visual extravaganza with projected high definition video content, a huge variety of sensory effects and a customised music score written by Klaus Badelt and recorded with LMO at Abbey Road studio 1.

Klaus wrote for a 70 piece LMO and the music was recorded ‘ in the round’ with the conductor Andy Brown standing in the middle of the orchestra which surrounded him, thereby helping the engineer (Jake Jackson) and music editor (Chris Brooks) achieve a real surround sound – a truly awesome aural experience for this amazing new entertainment complex.
