LMO record Sony PS4′s ‘Ghost of Tsushima’ with Ilan Eshkeri

EcBJv-yWsAA8xi6LMO recently completed Ilan Eshkeri’s score for Sony Playstation 4’s ‘Ghost of Tsushima’, an immersive action-adventure game featuring a samurai on Tsushima Island during the first Mongol invasion of Japan in the 1270s.

Ilan scored for 50 strings, 6 horns, trumpet, 3 trombones and tuba over 4 days of recording at Abbey Road studio 1. LMO was led by David Juritz and conducted by LMO Music Director Andy Brown. Further overdub sessions took place at RAK studios, involving traditional solo Japanese instruments including Koto played by Melissa Holding and Shakuhachi and Shinobue played by Clive Bell.

Composer Ilan EshkeriThe official game soundtrack will be released by Milan Records on July 17 on all digital platforms and as a two-CD set, with a vinyl edition coming in the future.
