LMO record Supercondriaque with Klaus Badelt

klaus 2LMO recently recorded Dany Boon‘s new movie Supercondriaque with composer Klaus Badelt at Air Lyndhurst and Abbey Road studios.

Celebrated French comedian and stage and screen actor Dany Boon plays the role of a hypochondriac who asks his doctor friend (played by Kad Merad) to treat his condition so he can find a wife.

control room 2Klaus Badelt used a string section of 40 (18 violins, 8 violas, 8 celli and 6 double basses) for 3 sessions. This was followed by a 10 piece brass session (3 horns, 2 trumpets, 3 tenor trombones, bass trombone and tuba) and a session with a male voice choir of 24 voices. David Juritz led LMO which was conducted by Andy Brown and the sessions were engineered by Jake Jackson.

Supercondriaque, which is distributed by Pathe, was shot in Paris and Calais and opened in 2014.
