Magic Silver is the English translation of a Norwegian film (Julenatt i Blafjell) which LMO recently recorded with Norwegian composer Magnus Beite. It’s a Christmas children’s animation movie which tells the story of a little girl, her relationship with the Blue Santas (good guys) and the red santas (bad guys), and a battle she is fighting to help her sick father.

Magnus Beite scored for 34 strings, single woodwind, 4 horns, 3 trombones, tuba and harp. LMO, conducted by Andy Brown, was led by Jackie Shave. The session took place at Air Lyndhurst Hall and was engineered by Steve McLaughlin and produced by Steve and Magnus Beite.

Julenatt i Blafjell (Magic Silver) is released by Blafjell Produksjon AS this November 13th in Norway.
