At the end of September 2008, the Pet Shop Boys recorded 2 tracks with LMO in Abbey Road Studio 1. The tracks, called Legacy and Beautiful People, were orchestrated by Owen Pallett for strings (12 violins, 4 violas, 3 celli and 3 double basses) and brass (4 horns, 2 trumpets, 2 trombones and tuba). LMO was led by Cathy Thompson under the baton of Andy Brown. The engineer was Andy Dudman and the album will be out in March 2009.
