The Crimson Wing: Mystery of the Flamingos, in which LMO collaborated with The Cinematic Orchestra, has been nominated for best original score for a documentary feature by the  International Film Music Critics 2008.

There was a live performance of the film with LMO and The Cinematic Orchestra in London on September 17th.

Crimson Wing was released in the UK on 25th September.
